Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (423) 629-2525. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is humphreysflorist.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Humphrey’s florals saved my day! I had a destination wedding in Chattanooga recently. When initially planning the wedding, I had decided to order all ceremony florals (bouquets and boutonnières) from a different florist (I am not going to mention their name). Meanwhile, I was really excited to create my own centerpieces for the reception. A week out from the wedding, I was very overwhelmed and decided to use a florist for the table arrangements. I called Humphrey’s and requested the table arrangements. I gave them my color scheme and made sure it matched the scheme I provided the florist that was working on the ceremony florals. When I picked up the table arrangements from Humphrey’s, I was in absolute awe. They looked amazing and were exactly as I pictured. The flowers were so fresh, they still looked amazing days after pick up. The day before my wedding, I picked up the ceremony florals from the other florist. I was so disappointed in the quality of the florals. They were very crusty and already wilting. The color scheme was so much duller than what I had sent in my reference photos. Last minute, I ended up using one of the table arrangements from Humphrey’s as my bridal bouque

We used Humphrey’s for our wedding in December 2025. Chloe helped execute our vision perfectly. They made a beautiful flower garland piece, a bridal bouquet, a few corsages and boutonnières, and bridesmaid bouquets. Everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Pricing is reasonable, and I would highly recommend them.

Chloe was absolutely wonderful! She had amazing communication and being as we had a destination wedding, this was so appreciated. She came day-of with two “minions” (lol!!) to help decorate the alter real time. Chloe also has such a warm & calming demeanor about her that was so wonderful in the midst of wedding planning. I cannot say enough good things about this business. Thank you for all you do! 🥰🌸🦋

I stopped by just before closing to purchase a pick me up bouquet for $25. It was quick and easy, the service was outstanding! The flowers were stunning and I'm still enjoying them days later. I can't wait to get another bouquet of flowers or arrangements from Humphreys in the future 😍
